Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage to remember preferences. Some are essential for the site to work; others are optional.

How we use cookies

We use:

• Essential cookies and storage - required to run core features, keep the site secure, and remember your cookie preference.
• Optional cookies - intended to help us understand how the site is used. Optional analytics are not currently active on the site; our consent banner is ready for when they are introduced.

Essential cookies and storage we use

• Cookie consent preference (local storage key nbdr-cookie-consent) - stores whether you chose “Accept all” or “Essentials only”, so we do not ask again on every visit.
• Private viewing access (cookie name private-viewing-access) - a secure, httpOnly cookie that remembers access to the unlisted private viewing room for a limited period after you enter the correct password.

These are necessary for the features they support and do not require optional consent under UK cookie rules for strictly necessary storage.

Optional cookies

If you choose “Accept all”, we may set optional cookies in future (for example analytics) to understand traffic and improve the experience. Until those tools are switched on, accepting all simply records your preference. Choosing “Essentials only” keeps optional cookies off.

Managing your preferences

You can change your mind by clearing site data for nanaberchie.com in your browser settings (this removes the stored consent choice and will show the banner again). You can also control cookies through your browser controls.

If you have questions about cookies, email hello@nanaberchie.com.

Third-party services

When you proceed to Shopify checkout, Shopify and its payment partners may set their own cookies on the checkout domain under Shopify’s policies. External studio booking links may also set cookies under the booking provider’s terms.

Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy when our practices change. The “Last updated” date on this page will be revised accordingly. For how we handle personal data more broadly, see the Privacy Policy of Nana Berchie Design Rituals.
